Named for the Rio Grande that runs through Colorado, this interior door was designed with the Southwest in mind. The beautiful Ebony Macassar wood veneer and arrow like design manages to evoke mountain ranges and cattle ranches yet still be very fresh and modern.
Ebony Macassar is a hardwood species native to Indonesia and known for its dark coloring: a dark reddish brown highlighted with a widely varying grain of darker brown and black. It is very durable and dense, and resistant to moisture.
In this wood door design, the strips of vertically grained wood are placed at an angle emanating from the center of the door, creating an arrow, or point. With such a striking design, this door should be reserved for higher traffic areas where its beauty can be enjoyed by all!
