This particular interior door design features a veneer of genuine Ebony Macassar, a hardwood named after the small island in Indonesia where it is found. This exotic species features a reddish brown undertone with stripes of dark brown and black. As mentioned, the grain runs horizontally at the center, but is framed in with two vertically grained panels at either side running the full length of the door.
Given its classic design, this door - even with its dark bold wood - could be used successfully throughout an entire house or apartment. The style is definitely modern, but this door could also be used with natural or traditional themes as well.
