Ebony Macassar Iris Interior Door

You can start with an interior door made with Ebony Macassar, a fairly rare hardwood from Southeast Asia known for its dark brownish red color and highly variable grain. Ebony Macassar takes a long time to grow, which makes the wood exceptionally strong and durable.
In this modern door design, the veneer is placed on the vertical grain across much of the plane of the door, except in the mid section, where the grain runs horizontally. This slight difference in grain adds just a little character as well as a horizontal line that evokes a flow in the room design.
This door can be used in virtually any room of the home, from living room to dining room and bedroom. It could even be used as part of a pair as a statement-making entrance from a large foyer.
