Ebony Macassar is a type of ebony wood found in the jungles of Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Relatively rare, it is revered for its dark coloring: a deep red brown with a striking grain that runs from darker brown to black. Ebony Macassar is very hard, dense and resistant to mold and mildew.
In this design, the veneer is placed with a vertical grain in all but one section of about the width of the door handle. It has a horizontal grain and forms a vertical line slightly off center toward the outside of the door. Use this door on its own as a statement, or use it in conjunction with other doors from our vast selection.
