In the Rio Grande, the colors range from darkest clay brown to the palest sky blue. The variations are subtle, not the least bit startling, and the effect is very pleasing. Natures beauty is reflected similarly in this oak door, which has a darker lower half and lighter upper, created just by juxtaposing the grain of the veneer. It's a door that is much more than a functional architectural component. It's sheer design inspiration. Contrasting to many of the interior doors on the market, ours are constructed of a solid core slab with a superior quality grey oak veneer applied on top. They are then finished with discreet metal hardware and fitted into a jamb for easy installation. The solid core construction also provides a heavy, sturdy feel and effective sound barrier against noisy children and heavy traffic.
